The online resources are designed to help you selecting the most relevant steel grades. Our guidance resources and related documents are based upon the expertise and the long experience of the French Steel Federation through its members and partners. Technical guidance includes mostly basic knowledge of steel products, standards, main steel grades, how to use steel, useful links to our members or other partners, etc.
Steel users may be given information about steel fabrication: mainly cold forming, welding, surface treatment.
Those who are interested in the use of steel in construction only are guided towards the French constructional steelwork association ConstruirAcier (http://www.construiracier.fr).
If the relevant advice cannot be found through the ways mentioned above, French Steel Federation staff members can be contacted directly.
