Our missions
The French Steel Federation represents the trade organizations of steelmaking, steel processing and steel distribution companies along with some steelmakers which operate partly or wholly in France.
I – The French Steel Federation represents the French steel industry to French national, European and International organizations.
II – The French Steel Federation is strongly involved in issues related to the development and progress of the steel industry and leads technical partnerships with foreign companies which produce primary steel and products made of steel.
III – The French Steel Federation provides its members with a wide range of services and assistance, mainly:
- Standardization (see the web pages of BN-Acier, the French steel standards organization)
- Providing information and documents in all topics related to steel through the Communication Service of the Federation
- Business data, steel statistics and significant figures
- International affairs
- Environment
- Transportation
